(Anima) n. The inner self of an individual - the soul; In Jungian psychology, the unconscious or true inner self of an individual, as opposed to the persona, or outer aspect of the personality.
The year is 1999. An eleven year old Eric Chang discovers the product of the quasi-monopolistic corporation Adobe’s famed little monster known as Photoshop sitting in his newly purchased desktop.
Three and a half versions of the program and eight years later, he has designed products or promotional material for clients ranging from Ivy League professors to Chinese-American rap artist Jin the Emcee and (however tangentially), rapper/actor Mos Def, all under the web-alias “Anima.” What happened in between those eight years is the stuff of legend, involving the slaying of several mythical beasts of primarily Hellenic and Nepali origin, precisely eleven narrow escapes from certain doom, and a number of speculative investments in banana cloning farms, specifically of the Cavendish variety.
He currently resides on his not-so-covert base on Mars, which he selected as his primary abode mainly to corroborate the veracity of claims made by the intrepid space explorer David Bowie. As such, it is a bit of a task to reach Eric by post, and thus it is recommended you email him at:
